I work with adolescents and adults struggling with depression and anxiety. Depression and anxiety can show up as irritability, behavioral concerns, substance use; school, work and relationship difficulties. I use mindfulness to increase awareness and bring issues to the surface where they can be dealt with effectively. Many individuals feel they have thought or talked about a problem for years without making progress. Mindfulness can address these issues by connecting body sensations, negative emotions and healing.
